Technology

The Chevy Silverado EV offers modern tech with an available 17.7-inch Google-based infotainment touchscreen and a digital gauge display. Most competitors have a similar setup with smaller touchscreen options, except the Tesla Cybertruck, which has a massive 18.5-inch touchscreen, a signature of their minimalist design. However, the Silverado EV offers a more traditional setup with redundant physical buttons that are easier and safer to operate while driving.

Interior & Exterior

The Chevy Silverado EV is distinguishable from the original gas version, but it offers a more recognizable pickup truck look, unlike the alienating futuristic design of the Tesla Cybertruck and the unique headlamp design of the Rivian models. The Silverado EV is the same size as its gas version, but you'll find exclusive features in the EV version, such as the expandable bed with midgate design.

Available Trim Levels

Among the competition, the Silverado EV and Ford F-150 Lightning are the most affordable, but the Silverado EV has three battery size options, whereas Ford only offers two. The Silverado EV offers flexibility to choose your desired capabilities:

  • Work Truck Standard, Extended Range, or Max Range
  • LT Extended Range
  • Work Truck Max Range
  • RST Extended Range or Max Range
